2017 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Vineyard

Willamette Valley's Whole Cluster Pinot Noir is our house wine, dating back to the mid 1990’s. There hasn't been a bad year for the vineyard's Whole Cluster Pinot Noir; anyway, since we've started drinking it. ’17 W.C. falls in line with former production years: same Pinot Noir nose; same deep red color with good legs. Tasting notes yield the wine’s consistent dark cherry, currant, and smooth finish. This Whole Cluster Pinot anything but a boring wine: a constantly fine everyday pour. Their ’17 is a bit “ruff” in that has sediment. (Sediment often occurs in wine, but unusual for WVV to release one.) Note: pour this ’17 Whole Cluster through a wine filter, and then enjoy.
